Maybe you have not become familiar with SCRIBD. This company will upload your documents to search engines within 3 days. You may optimize your tags for 1st place ranking. Also, you may share your documents with Facebook, Twitter and an infinite list of more.

I am a little unsure of how this works. Is this an ad or something that you write for your site that you can add keyword tags too? How does this help with optimization of your site? It would be very helpful if you could provide a little more information. Thanks!!

I know this was posted 11 months ago, but if you're still looking for an answer jandinow. I had a wee look at Scribd, if you scroll down to the bottom, there's an 'about' link. Full of info, also from there is a link to their "Scribd 101: The User’s Manual". It seems to be along the same lines as, for eg. HubPages.
